My Story

MEET LIZY

Canadian radio and television host Lizy Triffo was born in Chile and raised in Brazil. From a young age, she showed a keen interest in entrepreneurship and storytelling, often pretending to interview people around her with a makeshift microphone. However, these early passions didn’t immediately shape her career path.

Lizy initially pursued Dental Hygiene studies for one year in Brazil before moving to , Saskatchewan, where she found stable employment in the telecommunications industry. Although financially secure, Lizy felt unfulfilled and often wondered what was holding her back from her true calling. She realized, “Sometimes people don’t follow their dreams out of fear that they may not be good enough.”

In her early 40s, Lizy bravely cast aside her fears and pursued her childhood dream. For the past three years, The LizyT Radio Show has provided a platform for singers, songwriters, coaches, business owners, TV celebrities, child actors, and many more. The show features captivating interviews, reports on global news, and music requests from listeners worldwide.

She has cultivated a loyal community with a unique interview style, opening every conversation with a catchphrase coined by her husband: “Tell me who you are, what you do, contact info, anything new?” This simple prompt sets the stage for authentic and engaging discussions.

Having interviewed many famous personalities, Lizy shares, “I like to give 150% of myself. Sometimes it feels like I’ve run a marathon. But in the end, it’s not about me, it’s about them.” This philosophy fuels her dedication to promoting her guests wholeheartedly.

Her passion and commitment have earned her over 30,000 listeners worldwide, a spot in the Top 20 radio shows on Blog Talk Radio, and a growing presence on YouTube. In recognition of her charitable efforts, Lizy was awarded the 2015 Absolutely Fabulous Women Community Helper Excellence Award for her outstanding work supporting charities and nonprofits.
